Dead Mind was created and founded by Tay Ashby (@mr_deadmind) in the hopes to work in a space he can be himself and create the tattoos he loves and enjoys doing

Tay then brought on business partner and long-time friend Detlyn Raven (@inkydetlyn) to continue growing Dead Mind in the hopes to create a safe space and family environment for the whole team.

During and after the covid lockdowns Dead Mind moved from their private studio in Doreen to their now bigger location in Reservoir and now have 11 resident artists and a number of guest artists apart of our family.

Dead Mind aims to continue to grow in 2023 and many more years to come and can’t thank our family, friends and all of our beloved clients for being a part of this journey with us
